Love how awkward colm felt in TNG, compared to the badass he becomes in DS9
Yeah, that’s what I was thinking. He always looked a bit awkward in the TNG uniform. But looked very natural in the early DS9 uniform.
The production explanation is probably just that non-main characters got uniforms that fit “well enough” and not one specifically made for them.
He did get an updated uniform is season 3 while many of the non-main characters were still stuck in the original uniforms.
