I do apologise if people are waiting for my annotations. I also apologise for any arrogance in assuming people are waiting for them.
I havenât found a window where I can sit down and actively listen to do them. Iâm working on âOriginal Sinâ right now and itâs taking a bit of time because (as an English nerd in high school), I have a bit to say about the use of poetry and Shakespeare in this episode.
Not as dramatic of an ending as Iâd expect. But still a pretty fun listen.
I wonder is Lear ever tried to meet up with her Noonien Singh relatives?
I actually feel like Laâan really reduces some of the drama of the daughter of Khan trying to find her place and understand where and who she is. Sheâs not technically all alone because she has estranged family who already understands the prejudice of augments in Star Fleet.
I feel it is actually fitting for Khan to stay with his people to lead them. This is a noble trait, but itâs also a bit more of an ego thing that does fit his character more than being selfish enough to save himself.
Elborians dying seems like a cop out. But I guess we need a reason the augments never got rescued, and Delmonda would have definitely sent for help.
This is a bit of fiction I never thought needed expanding. But it wasnât so bad. I hope they do some more interesting little side stories or expanded lore on something that might need more exploring. Say what happened to Prime Lorca, or how the events that led to Unification Part 3. You know, something a bit more meaty.

With Tuvokâs comment about using his position to advocate for augments, I wonder if theyâre considering a Tim Russ/Christina Chong spinoff.
I think I agree with your overall sentiment - not the greatest thing Iâve ever heard, but Iâm glad they made it.
The highlights for me were the semi-rehabilitation of McGivers, and the fleshing out of Khanâs cult followers. And Iâm glad they didnât go down the âKhan wasnât so badâ road, instead going with, âKhan was a pretty bad guy who maybe could have turned it around under different circumstances,â whichâŚis a pretty Star Trek message, even if itâs not one I was very interested in exploring.
A decent ending to a pretty good show. Iâm glad Khan wasnât a good guy after all. I am a little tired of new species being named and not explored. Khan dealing with a shipwreck of Klingons could have been fun, though it wouldnât have left much room for his growth.
Ivan coming back was no surprise at all, but it would have been interesting to hear more about his time away.
There was one voice actor that seemed really flat throughout. I donât want to name them in case they search for themselves; I wouldnât like them to feel badly. I do wonder about the directing for that character, though.

I look forward to them, so thanks for the update. Take your time.
Iâm excited to see your work for E10, but take your time obviously. Really appreciate all the time and effort youâre putting in.
